New Science Library open in the Gorlaeus building

From study areas to browsing collections and arranging consultations with faculty liaisons, the new Science Library in the Gorlaeus building offers a wide range of services.

The new Science Library, now housed in the Gorlaeus building, offers a comprehensive range of services. From study spaces to consulting collections and even extended book retrieval options, it caters to diverse academic needs. With 117 study places, including computer-equipped stations and those with screens for laptops, students have ample resources.

Additionally, the library provides access to requested books via convenient book lockers, allowing pickups beyond regular opening hours. The collections from former library locations LMUY and Snellius are now consolidated here, boasting a vast array of titles grouped by subject. Visitors can also enjoy a designated lounge area, perfect for exploring the extensive journal collection.
