ESSO-EYSAC Hands on Course on Abdominal Surgery

An interactive workshop on the surgical anatomy of the abdominal organs and vessels is included in this course. The benefits and drawbacks of oncological surgery on every abdominal organ will be demonstrated on specially embalmed bodies. Each session will end with an interactive discussion integrating management and practical/anatomical issues.   This course is designed for fellows and young surgeons who want to lead in a particular area of surgical oncology.  

Hands-on sessions with human bodies and various surgical technique exercises are among the educational methods used. Additionally, a pre-course 3D atlas on surgical anatomy and techniques will assist participants in increasing their knowledge of the anatomy of the abdominal organs and improving their surgical skills.
