In the middle of Polderpark Cronesteyn you’ll find De tuin van de smid. The venue has several rooms that can be rented for meetings, trainings, or parties.
The green hall and the greenhouse are both approximately 100 m2. In a theater set-up, there is room for 80 visitors per room, at a reception for 120 people. The rooms can also be linked together. The rooms have a beamer, flip-over and Wi-Fi and have their own terrace. The green room includes a table made of six meters of solid wood, which seats 22 people. Different arrangements are possible: a U-shape, theater set-up, or separate tables. From both rooms there is a view over the landscape and the private terrace. After closing hours of the restaurant, the entire building with surrounding grounds can be rented.

As a break from work, all kinds of activities are possible. Of course, a forging workshop is on offer (to support the forging of new plans!). There are also various excursions to choose from, a wood chopping workshop, yoga class, or a boot camp.
De tuin van de smid has excellent cuisine. There is suitable catering for every meeting: from lunch with drinks to a festive buffet or barbecue on the terrace. Fairtrade, diet-friendly and organic products are used, where possible obtained from small companies in the area.
You can reach De tuin van de smid in about 15 minutes on foot from Lammenschans Station or bus stop. If you come by car, there is plenty of parking space near the park. The venue also can arrange a park and pick up service. A boat can be moored in the Rhine-Schie Canal, near De tuin van de smid.
