Leiden in the spotlight during international New Dutch press trip
During the New Dutch press trip, a group of international journalists visited Leiden to learn more about the city as a centre for innovation, science and technology. They were given exclusive tours of the Leiden Bio Science Park, Mimetas, the NIKON Imaging Lab and the LUMC, where they spoke with scientists and innovators. The press trip demonstrated how Leiden plays a key role in the Dutch life sciences sector and how the city is positioning itself internationally as a place where new ideas, discoveries and medical breakthroughs come together.
