Pieterskerk Leiden receives Leiden "Uitblinker" Award

Pieterskerk Leiden has received the Leiden "Uitblinker" Award for its contribution to the international visibility of both the monument and the city of Leiden. The award was accepted by the entire team during the New Year's reception, highlighted the collective nature of this achievement. 

The jury specifically highlighted initiatives such as the Pilgrim Museum, KLM's House No. 106, and the event celebrating KLM's anniversary. Developed in close collaboration with partners in and beyond the city, these projects generated visibility for Pieterskerk Leiden while also showcasing Leiden as a destination. 

By combining heritage, storytelling and events, Pieterskerk Leiden serves as a visible platform for the city. Visitors and participants experience Leiden through these initiatives, supporting the city's profile as a cultural and knowledge-driven destination.
