Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden selected to host the 20th edition of the Transgenic Technologies Meeting in 2026

Leidse Schouwburg-Stadsgehoorzaal is proud to announce that their venue Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden has been selected to host the 20th edition of the TT Meeting in 2026. The Transgenic Technologies Meeting, organised by the International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT), has previously taken place in destinations such as Helsinki, Houston, and Zurich. Held every one and a half years, the TT Meeting consistently brings together hundreds of international scientists from around the world. 

The bid to host the meeting was intiated by ambassador Peter Hohenstein, Head of the Transgenic Facility at Leiden University Medical Center and former board member of the ISTT, in collaboration with Leiden Convention Bureau and Leidse Schouwburg-Stadsgehoorzaal. Stadsgehoorzaal quickly emerged as a suitable congress venue thanks to its multiple rooms with a maximum capacity of 800 guests, its state-of-the-art tehcnical facilities, and its prime location in the heart of Leiden's historic city center.
