From 18 to 20 March 2026, Leiden will host the Earth–Space Sustainability Conference, organised by the international Earth–Space Sustainability network.
The conference brings together researchers, policymakers, and professionals who are engaged in the interconnection between Earth and space, examining it from ecological, political, and philosophical perspectives. The conference covers multiple themes, including sustainability, politics, and philosophy. The programme consists of lectures, panels, and creative sessions spread across various locations in Leiden. The conference will be held in English. Registration will only be possible from January 2026, but registration to submit a research proposal is already open.
