During the 12th Life Science Symposium ‘Life in 3D: detection and diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases’ at Naturalis Biodiversity Centre Leiden, researchers and academics will explore new technologies and strategies to unravel the complexity of the brain.
The programme will include topics like the role of genetics in neurological diseases, analysis of the clinical picture and the practical applications of tools such as biosensors. The new technologies and strategies will be discussed together to discover how they can enhance life and various processes. By exploring the new possibilities and discoveries in brain disease research the aim is to inspire students and academics and show the importance of the medical and scientific field.
The symposium will start at 09:30 am, after which seven inspiring speakers will fill the day with inspiring topics and conversations.
The ticket covers lunch, refreshment, a goodie bag and a day full of new insights! Tickets are available for everyone and range from €10 for LIFE-members, €15 for bachelor- or master-students, and €25 for non students.
The programme will be in english and will end at 17:00 with some drinks and network opportunities.
