Circulaire Openbare Ruimte Congress

The essence of creating a circular public space lies in the simple act of 'just doing it' and, most importantly, doing it together. This sentiment is commonly echoed by municipalities and stakeholders engaged in circular projects. The process involves trial and error, learning, and translating new insights into subsequent projects. Everyone plays a role, from policymakers and designers to project leaders, managers, purchasers, and market participants. To make progress, it's crucial to share lessons learned from various perspectives. Dialogue among all stakeholders is encouraged to enable others to benefit, foster collective knowledge growth, and collaboratively take concrete steps towards achieving a circular public space. These principles will be at the forefront of the Circular Public Space Congress, hosted by the city of Leiden.
