Health & Wellbeing — From Social Sciences to Impact

On 10 November 2026, Agora in Leiden will host Health & Wellbeing — From Social Sciences to Impact. The afternoon brings together researchers, professionals and societal partners working on health and well-being. Its aim is to exchange knowledge, highlight current initiatives and create new connections between research, practice and society.

The programme includes a plenary opening with short pitches, an information market and several interactive breakout sessions. Topics include mental health and well-being across generations, collaboration around health from different perspectives, and translating research into practice and societal impact.

Participating organisations include LUBEC, GGD and TNO, alongside university knowledge centres and other societal partners. The afternoon concludes with informal networking and drinks, offering participants the opportunity to continue conversations, expand their network and explore future opportunities for collaboration.
