The Life Sciences Café is a monthly event for professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs based in the Leiden Bio Science Park. This special edition is in collaboration with HollandBio, focuses on the future of biotechnology, featuring contributions from startups and opportunities for networking.
During this special edition of the Life Sciences Café, organized in collaboration with HollandBio – the advocacy organization for the Dutch biotech sector – the spotlight is on the future of biotechnology. The event takes place at Grand Café de Stal and brings together a diverse group of participants: seasoned professionals from the Leiden Bio Science Park, emerging startups, researchers, and students from across the Life Sciences & Health ecosystem.
The programme includes brief updates from the Bio Science Park and HollandBio, as well as pitches from innovative startups within the network. Among the speakers:
• Dmitry Pavlotsky (GamaAnalyze) – presenting an AI-driven game platform for fast and affordable mental health screening in children.
• Stephan van Sint Fiet (Vivici) – introducing a clinically validated, EEG-based device for the early detection of Alzheimer’s.
In addition to its content-rich programme, the Life Sciences Café offers plenty of opportunity for networking, inspiration, and new connections.
