Children's rights under pressure in a changing world: Need for a new research agenda?

From 16 to 17 October, a symposium on children's rights in a changing world will take place, with the aim of conducting research on a new research agenda on children's rights.
The symposium brings together doctoral candidates and their supervisors from various universities and disciplines. The aim of the symposium is to promote collaboration between the various researchers and to work together on a new research agenda for children's rights. The theme of the symposium was inspired by UNICEF's 2023 statement on a polycrisis, referring to various crises around the world that were affecting children. These included the growth of armed conflicts, pressure on basic needs such as food, obstacles to the development of sustainable energy, and threats to democratic rights.
