12th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens 2028

The conference brings together education professionals, researchers, curators, teachers and other experts from botanical gardens around the world to exchange knowledge and experiences on education, biodiversity and sustainability. The conference will take place from 3 to 7 July 2028. 

The conference provides an international platform for everyone involved in botanical gardens. The programme includes plenary lectures, presentations, workshops and interactive sessions in which new developments, innovative educational methods and practical examples are shared. Participants will have the opportunity to gain inspiration, exchange experiences and forge new international partnerships. With participants from a wide range of countries and disciplines, the conference offers excellent opportunities for networking and for reflecting together on the role of botanical gardens in raising environmental awareness and tackling global challenges such as biodiversity loss and climate change.
