Congressing in Leiden: the "key" to a successful conference

Our FLUX-congress in 2015 was a great success from start to finish. On Saturday morning, the mayor of Leiden jumped on board of our boat tour to welcome the international congress committee during the site inspection and recounted the most beautiful stories of his city. Leiden Convention Bureau arranged everything effectively and with a smile to make our congress a success. The delegates were looking forward to the beautiful conference location, the charming city and the short travel time. The mayor was well prepared for the group of specialists he found standing before him at the welcome reception. His speech was so engaging and entertaining, that delegates asked if our mayor could come to every annual congress from now on.

And... not that it's about quantity, but Leiden appears to a have a major attraction for delegates. The FLUX-congress had 50% more delegates than the previous congresses.
