Lot & de Walvis is one of the nicest places in Leiden. After a fantastic world trip, Lot is now at home, in the port of Leiden. All her experiences come together in her own restaurant called Lot & de Walvis.

It is a nice place in the port of Leiden with a terrace which is always sunny. You can start your day with a hearty breakfast and end it with friends. Escape the crowds here and enjoy, eat and drink, dream and find new inspiration. Lot wants you to feel free and to be able to be yourself.

Would you like to come with a larger group? You’re welcome in our Living Room or Dining Room for lunch, drinks or dinner. Lot likes a party so we will do everything we can to provide you with an unforgettable time. In the living room you can have an intimate lunch or dinner with a maximum of 40 guests or enjoy drinks for up to 60 guests. Our Dining Room is slightly larger, has 55 seats and room for a maximum of 80 guests for a drink. Try our Walking Dinner menu! It is an informal way of standing dining with beautiful, small dishes that together form a complete menu. A walk through the map will take you to all the places where Lot has been with her camper, 'de Walvis'.

The restaurant opens at 9:00 AM daily. From Sunday up to and including Thursday, the restaurant is open until 23:30 PM, with the kitchen closing at 21:30 PM. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant is open until 01:00 AM, with the kitchen closing at 22:00.
